MO: Raw material location in BoM
Procurement uses lot_stock_id from stock.warehouse to fill location_src_id in mrp.production
Different production locations may be related to different raw material locations. Therefor BoM (header) needs a new field labeld 'Raw Material Location' (default value could be lot_stock_id from stock.warehouse). Mandatory or not?If yes: procurement gets the raw raw material location always from BoM - if not: procurement checks BoM first, if no RML defined procurement pulls the location lot_stock_id from stock.warehouse

Hi Steffi,
The raw material location field has been set in the product form. So, each material has its own default location where the material is going to take/leave depending how the MO is configured.
The MO always checks this field to create all moves. And in the semi-elaborated product case this location should be a virtual location (e.g. "Production"). Latter is because these kind of product is not located in a warehouse, but is produced and later passed to other operation.
Hope this will help you.
Cheers,
