BIND9 - a plugin/pool manager that can scale to hundreds of thousands of zones

BIND9 is a leading backend. Some organizations need it to scale significantly beyond it's current implementation. The ideal implementation can manage a million+ zones on one server pool, with 30,000 POST/PUT/DELETE API requests per day. The lag between completing an update via API and the update propagating to the servers in the pool should be less than 30 seconds.
