Preview the effect of a Boolean operation before confirming
To avoid surprises, boolean operations should have a preview to show the result and help choose the right operation. E.G. as you mouse over each boolean menu item, the operation is performed immediately so the user can browse the different types. Or a separate Boolean pop up appears with the both the choice of operations and the result preview with OK/Cancel. Sometimes performing a boolean operation has unexpected results. The command names are not obvious and the icons are not unique. Combine and Exclusion icons are the same. New or users of other software are unsure of the object stack order. Operations being Union, Difference, Intersection, Exclusion, Division, Cut path.

2016-10-01 VictorWestmann : that sounds cool to me. Would it be something similar to the idea/concept of "non-destructive effects" on Adobe Photoshop?
