The Packaging table which associates ProductsSeries to SourcePackageNames in DistroReleases needs 16,000 links created for each non-inheriting DistroRelease. The table can be manually filled when users of launchpad get interested in a specific package, but the bulk of the data should be provided by a PackagingGoblin.
