Fix code style and enable relevant pep8 rules

Nova has a lot of code that is quite old and not very nice to read. There is a number of pep8 and Hacking rules disabled in the pep8 checks for it, for that reason. Working on code that looks bad is not pleasant or fast, so it would be nice to fix this, and enable the rule checking, so that the code stays nice and clean.
The plan is to gradually enable the style rules one by one, and fix all the places that come up with errors/warnings.
