Swift on Filesystems optimized for sequential read/write only(Not tuned for DB operations)

Currently SWIFT uses SQLite database for maintaining the Object, Container & Account's information and their user/system metadata. Not all filesystems are optimized and tuned for non-sequential data read/write operations, performed by SQLite database.
If we provide support for this, then filesystems tuned for sequential data access only, can also achieve optimum performance and that would add flexibility for end users to choose their file system(s) and thereby increase adoption of Swift and Openstack.
