Ripple effect flash animation from buttons

It's great in Linux land with 3d bling. However I believe that if the UME desktop can be animated why not take advantage of this and have ripples emanate from the button that just got pressed, in a similar fashion to the way ripple and rain work on compiz. It would be a nice touch and graphically would be a better representation of the button that has been depressed.
