Stable Core for Ubuntu Touch platform beyond 14.04
Session will discuss requirements and options to realize requirements to continue development for our touch product baseline beyond 14.04
- Identify key components that make up the core platform for touch work beyond 14.04?
- can we continue focussing on a single baseline?
- can we make our latest unity8 bits available to trusty users?
- What changes (in core system) are considered disruptive and how can we guard against such disruptive changes?
- Can we realize this in archive? using daily release?
- Do we need to go to ppa?
- Identify steps and work needed to prepare the options?

As I understand the proposal, it would look something like this:
1. we release 14.04
2. we open 14.10
3. we pick certain components (Mir, Unity, Apps, for example)
4. these components go into 14.04 and 14.10 archive
5. we let users update out of the 14.04 archive
In this way, the core would be stable for devices running that images, but users would get fresh stuff at the user experience level
