Include all availables modules for laptop cpu in order to lower power consumsion
One of the weak point of every Linux distribution is the lack of efficient power management by default, wich brings most laptop to have a very limited autonomy compared as what they can do with MS Windows.
The point is that many CPU manufacturer have released drivers for their cpu, but this drivers require a recompilation of the kernel, wich is unacceptable for "human beings".
The idea would be to gather as many version of this driver as possible (AMD drivers, INTEL, drivers, a.s.o ...) so that allmost every laptop would see it's power management abaility increased under Ubuntu.
For example with Feisty powernowd only see 2 steps of frequency for an AMD Turion X2 L-50 1,6 GHz (800Mhz and 1600MHz) when under windows the same CPU as 4 steps (400, 800, 1200 and 1600 MHZ)
The drivers released by the cpu manufacturers also includes some other nice features in PM not just better frequency scalabality.
The sources of this drivers are most of the time available.
