About Hardware
- we should not list every hardware; we can of course list some third party docs and projects suc as Alsa or Ffado, this could be good basis, we should also make some recommandations about what is known to be supported (eg: RME hdsp pci sound cards, Echo firewire sound cards, HP and Epson scanners and printers, Texas Intruments firewire chipsets, etc...)
- we should write some information for hardware needind some specific gui or tools (eg: RME hdsp, explain that hdsp-mixer has to be started to have some sound)
- we should list some common hardware that are known to NOT be supported, or not well (VIA firewire chipset, ProTools HD pci and pci-e sound cards, Lexmark printers...)
- We should focus on one point : avoid users to spend to much time on Google and forums to know what works or not
